Cap’n Dave Eisenstein has a passion for dinosaurs.  He’s studied these prehistoric
beasts since he was five years old and is still pursuing knowledge about them to
this very day.

In September of 2005 Dave retired from 20 years of service with the United States
Air Force.  While in the Air Force Cap’n Dave logged over 2000 hours flight time in
the EC-130H and T-43 aircraft.  His skills as a teacher were honed with over 12
years experience as a military instructor.  He developed a funny, audience-friendly
delivery style and a knack for making highly technical and scientific subjects easily
understood by all ages.  His teaching awards include “Instructor of the Year” for the
Naval Technical Training Center, Pensacola, Florida as well as the Association of
Old Crows (an international professional organization dedicated to Electronic
Warfare) Training Award as best Electronic Warfare Teacher in the entire
Department of Defense.

Cap’n Dave’s love for dinosaurs lead him in 1999 to be associated with Dinosaur
World, a company owned by his friend Dinosaur George Blasing, in San Antonio,
Texas. Dave started first as a participant in the organization’s paleontological
programs, then as an employee of Dinosaur World and then finally as the corporate
Vice President and co-owner.  While part of this company Dave became a skilled
paleontologal field tech as well as a highly competent preparer of fossils.  Cap’n
Dave was one of the stars of Dinosaur World’s DVD of “Dinosaur George’s Guide to
Prehistoric Life” as well as one of the characters in the Dinosaur George line of
educational comic books.  Cap’n Dave and Dinosaur George closed Dinosaur World
shortly after Dave moved to Las Vegas and both are pursuing their own projects,
although they still collaborate on events from time to time.

In late 2006 Cap’n Dave opened his own dinosaur business;
Cap’n Dave’s Dinosaur Lectures & Shows and has spoken to thousands of people
throughout Utah, Nevada and Arizona.  Over the years Cap'n Dave has been
involved in numerous Paleontological digs in Texas and Nevada.

In mid 2010 Cap'n Dave started a wonderful relationship with the great folks at the
Roos-N-More Zoo in Moapa, NV. When he's not out teaching about dinosaurs and
other prehistoric life he can be found at the zoo educating the public about his
scaly and furry friends there.
