Cap'n Dave's Dinosaur Lectures & Shows
Cap'n Dave's Upcoming Events
& Show Schedule
Saturday, 4 February, 12:00 - 5:00

I'll be joining the Roo-N-More team at the "Find Your Furry Valentine" pet adoption/rescue event at the Bass
Pro Shops at the Silverton Hotel and Casino.  We're still trying to figure out which animals we'll have there.
I'll bring one of my fossils to add to our display.

Saturday, 17 March, 11:00, 12:30 and 2:00

I'll be at the Valley of Fire's Visitor Center presenting my special "Dinosaurs of the Valley of Fire"
presentation.  Come on out and learn about the paleontology discoveries at Nevada's first state park.  The
shows are free (they're part of your park admission).  Hope to see you there.  For more information please

Saturday, 21 April, 11:00, 12:30 and 2:00

I'll be at the Valley of Fire's Visitor Center presenting my world famous "What Jurassic Park Got Wrong"
presentation.  Come on out and see what Steven Spielberg and Micheal Crighton got wrong in the world's
most popular dinosaur movie series.  The shows are free (they're part of your park admission).  Hope to see
you there.  For more information please visit

Sunday, 15 April, 2:00 - 6:00 PM

This is the rescheduled "Furry A-Fair" event that was originally scheduled for 19 Feb.  It is now "We Cook
For Animals."  It will be held at Sun City in Mesquite.  There will be a cooking demo by the executive chef of
the Eureka Casino and a raffle.  I'll have a table displaying many of my fossils and will probably also be
representing the Roos-N-More Zoo as well.  As of right now I'll be bringing my favorite zoo animal Pandora
the red-tailed boa (7 feet of snakey sweetness).  Entry tickets are $30.00 each and each raffle ticket costs
$1.00.  All the proceeds go to the "We Care For Animals" charity in Mesquite.
